Lakers lose to Wayne State

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - Lake Superior State lost its fourth straight Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's tennis match, falling 6-3 at home to Wayne State on Saturday.

Sergiu Laza (Toronto, Ont.) was victorious at No. 1 singles for the Lakers, 6-4, 6-2. Brandon Clayton (Windsor, Ont.) defeated Man Gill 4-6, 6-4, 10-6 at No. 2 singles. At No. 5 singles, Travis Toth (St. Johns, Mich.) defeated his WSU opponent, 6-4, 6-2.

The Lakers are 1-14 overall this season and 0-4 in the GLIAC.
