LSSU Cross Country to Compete at GLIAC Championships

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. -- The Lake Superior State men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships this Saturday, November 3.

The championships are hosted by Grand Valley State University and will take place at the Gainey Athletic Complex at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The men's 8,000-meter race begins at 11 a.m. and the women's 6,000-meter race begins at 11:45 a.m. Live results can be found here.

In addition to both races, the championship will also see the GLIAC cross country major awards distributed, including athlete of the year, coaching staff of the year and freshman of the year on both the men's and women's sides.

The Lakers' last action was at the Wayne State Invitational in Detroit, Michigan on October 20. Following the GLIAC championships this weekend, LSSU will compete at the NCAA Midwest Regionals at Hillsdale College on November 17.
