High School: Graduated from Cadillac Senior High School in Cadillac, Mich. in 2021… Competed in the Big North Conference… Coached by Timothy O’Malley… Member of the cross country team for four years in high school… Member of the track team for two years… Received Academic All-State recognition as a sophomore, junior and senior in cross country… Received Academic All-State recognition as a senior in track… Earned Scholar-Athlete status all four years of high school… Received the team’s Most Improved Award in 2018… Earned the team’s Heart Award in 2019… Received the team’s Most Inspirational Runner Award in 2020… Finished her high school career with personal record times of 3:03 in the 800 meter run, 6:31.51 in the 1600 meter run, 13:37.73 in the 3200 meter run, and 19:26.5 in the 5k distance.
Personal: Daughter of Scott and Carol Phillips… Has two brothers, Brendan and Gavin… Also played hockey while in high school… Member of the Robotics club, Future Farmers of America, National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society in high school… Majoring in fisheries and wildlife management.
