Junior (2019-20): Competed in three meets for the Lakers during the indoor season... Outdoor season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic... At the SVSU "Doug Hansen" Open, set a personal record in the long jump with a distance of 4.91 meters... Threw a personal best 10.25 meters in the shot put at the Conference Crossover... Named to the 2019-20 GLIAC Winter All-Academic Excellence Team... Named to the 2020 GLIAC Spring All-Academic Excellence Team.

High School: Graduated from Superior Heights Collegiate and Vocational School in 2014... Coached by Lori Purnis… Played basketball and soccer for four years... Named league MVP in basketball as a sophomore... Named senior athlete of the year.

Personal: Son of Harri and Bridget Heimonen... Has a brother, Ethan and four sisters, Lydia, Rachel, Emily, and Hannah... Member of music band in high school for two years... Spent two years as a missionary in eastern Canada and Maine after high school... Hobbies include playing piano, and traveling... Majoring in biochemistry.
