FARMINGTON HILLS - Lake Superior State goaltender Pat Inglis and forward Nathan Perkovich received honorable mention on the Central Collegiate Hockey Association All-Rookie Team.
Perkovich is currently the Lakers' second-leading goal scorer. He has 12 goals and seven assists for 19 points plus three game-winning goals. Earlier this season, from Oct. 14 through Nov. 3, he enjoyed a six-game point scoring streak.
Inglis appeared in 11 games and started eight while playing behind standout senior Jeff Jakaitis. He has a 2.89 goals-against average and .908 save percentage. He totaled a season-high 37 saves in a 5-2 victory at Northern Michigan on Dec. 2 and tied that mark during a 3-2 overtime loss at Michigan State on Jan. 19.
The CCHA All-Rookie First Team included forwards Kevin Deeth and Ryan Thang, and defenseman Kyle Lawson of Notre Dame, forward Mark Letestu and goalie Riley Gill of Western Michigan, and defenseman Eddie Del Grosso of Nebraska-Omaha.
Other receiving honorable mention were forwards Dion Knelson (Alaska) and Jarod Palmer (Miami), defensemen Marc Bernier (UNO), Tyler Ludwig (WMU), Kyle Page (Bowling Green), Michael Ratchuk (Michigan State) and Chris Summers (Michigan), and goaltenders Jeremie Dupont (UNO) and Joseph Palmer (Ohio State).
