Box Score SAULT STE. MARIE - Findlay defeated Lake Superior State 25-15,
25-17, 25-16 in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
volleyball match Saturday at Bud Cooper Gymnasium.
Abby Shereda totaled 12 kills, and Nikki Stratelak added seven
for LSSU (4-11 overall, 2-9 GLIAC). LSSU used all three setters --
Janelle Balkwill, Brandiss Ward and Kristin Kopicki -- and Kopicki
totaled a season-high 16 assists. Libero Brittany Newberry compiled
14 digs, and Emily Snyder followed with five.
Jessica VonIns and Danielle Taflinger had 10 kills each to lead
Findlay (8-8 overall, 4-6 GLIAC).
LSSU concludes its weekend homestand with a match at 2 p.m.
Sunday against Hillsdale.
