FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - Junior defenseman Zach Sternberg was
named Cental Collegiate Hockey Association Gladiator Defensemen of
the Week. Sternberg finished with a three-point weekend
against Michigan State. His three-assist weekend marks a career
high in points for a series.
The Toronto native was named Perani Cup second star during
the 3-2 victory over MSU Friday.
Sternberg was the only Laker that was +2 during the series.
Both assists from the LSSU victory were on power-play goals. He
also totaled four blocks.
Sternberg is tied for first on the Lakers in assists with four
and tied for second in points with 1-4--5.
