Natalie Reynolds Named Lakers' Athletic Trainer

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. -- The Lake Superior State University Athletics Department is proud to announce the appointment of Natalie Reynolds to one of its two athletic trainer positions. 

Reynolds, a certified athletic trainer, will have primary responsibilities for the Lakers in the sports of men's ice hockey, men's & women's golf, and men's & women's tennis.  She officially began her current duties in early August 2017.

A native of Mesa, Ariz., Reynolds joins Laker Athletics after serving as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.  She served as the primary athletic trainer for the Bobcats' Softball team and received her Master of Science degree in athletic training from Ohio University in 2017.
During her senior year at the University of Delaware, Reynolds worked a season long internship with the Philadelphia Flyers Professional Ice Hockey team.  She worked directly with Head Athletic Trainer Jim McCrossin covering practices and games, as well as assisting with the rehabilitation and treatments of the players.
  
Reynolds earned a bachelor of science degree in 2015 at the University of Delaware in Newark, Del., majoring in athletic training with a minor in strength and conditioning.  Reynolds is a 2011 graduate of St. Mark's High School in Wilmington, Del., where she participated on the school's crew team for two seasons and one with the Spartans' field hockey squad.

The daughter of Jim and Andrea Reynolds, Natalie is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers Association.  She enjoys boating, the beach, outdoors, skiing, and watching the TV show Grey's Anatomy.
