BUCKNELL, Pa. - Lake Superior State (LSSU) senior javelin thrower Jenna Fleming (Hilton Beach, Ont.) has broken her own school record at the Bucknell Bison Classic on Sunday.

On her second attempt, Fleming threw for a distance of 47.59m, finishing second overall in the field behind only Division I thrower Evelyn Bliss of Bucknell. This mark ranks as the fourth best in NCAA Division II, increasing her chances of qualifying for the NCAA DII National Championship Meet for a third-consecutive season.
