BAY CITY, Mich. – Lake Superior State (LSSU) division II student-athletes have earned 92 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) academic honors for the 2023-24 academic year, as announced by the league office on Wednesday.

The Lakers amassed 36 GLIAC All-Academic honorees for maintaining a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49 and 56 Academic Excellence honorees for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5. In total, 74% of LSSU division II student-athletes that were eligible to be considered for academic recognition were honored (true freshmen and first-year transfer student-athletes not eligible).
