Grace Bradford played a massive role as Lake Superior State won three games in under a week to close out 2025, earning GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week honors.

The senior scored 16 points in the Lakers 65-59 home win over Walsh, while setting a new career-high with 22 rebounds. She snatched eight offensive boards and 14 on the defensive glass, controlling the paint with her stellar play. She also swiped two steals for LSSU in the victory. With her massive rebounding total, Bradford moved into second place all-time in rebounding at Lake Superior State, passing Chris Nance ('96). She now sets her sights on the record - an even 1,000 by Marti Wallace ('83).

Against Illinois-Springfield, Bradford stuffed the stat sheet in a 67-61 win. She scored 16 points with 13 rebounds, blocking two shots and stealing a ball from the Prairie Stars. 10 of her 16 points came in the fourth quarter, as she dominated the two-way play late.

The Lakers beat Upper Iowa on Bradford's score with five seconds left, and she played another outstanding two-way game on Saturday. 15 points, 10 rebounds, a block and two steals. She relentlessly attacked the Peacocks in the paint down the stretch and turned the tide from a 12 point deficit to a Laker win.

Bradford leads the GLIAC as the only player averaging more than 10 rebounds per game, as she hauls in 12.2 per contest. She's fourth nationally in defensive rebounds per game and sixth in total rebounds per game. Her six double-doubles are ninth nationally.
