BIG RAPIDS - Ferris State extended its win streak to six straight matches with Friday's 25-21, 25-19, 25-22 victory over Lake Superior State.

Abby Shereda totaled a team-high eight kills, while Lindsay McLeod had six kills and a team-leading .417 attack percentage for LSSU (6-18 overall, 2-15 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference), which is closing out the season with a three-match road swing.

Emily Snyder added seven kills, and Janelle Balkwill had 20 assists and seven digs. Libero Brittany Newberry totaled 22 digs.

The Lakers play at 2 p.m. Saturday at Saginaw Valley State and at the same time Sunday at Grand Valley State.

FSU improved to 17-9 overall and 13-6 in the GLIAC.
