AURORA, Ill. - Lake Superior State lost 3-1 to Wisconsin-Parkside Saturday and finished 2-1 at the sixth annual Mizuono GLIAC vs. GLVC Crossover Volleyball Tournament.

The 13th-seeded Lakers (4-14) beat 10th-seeded UW-P in the first set, 25-23, then lost the next three, 25-14, 25-9, 25-15. 

Emily Snyder totaled 11 kills and Jen Marren added 10 to lead LSSU. Janelle Nagy had 30 assists, and Meghan Drobish finished with eight digs.

The Rangers (14-9) had an impressive team attack percentage of .415 and held LSSU to .101.

With one round remaining, the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference vs. Great Lakes Valley Conference series is tied, 19-19.

The Lakers play host to Northwood at 7 p.m. on Nov. 1.
