UNIVERSITY CENTER - Lake Superior State lost a midweek volleyball clash at Saginaw Valley State Tuesday, falling 25-22, 25-12, 25-22.

Senior Emily Snyder totaled 14 kills and a .312 attack percentage to lead LSSU (4-17 overall, 2-12 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference). Synde McMullen and Billie McLeod added five kills each. Meghan Drobish finished with 13 digs, and setter Janelle Nagy had 11.

Kaylee Schmitt and Ashley Driscoll led SVSU (16-9 overall, 8-6 GLIAC) with 11 kills each. Schmitt's impressive night also included zero attack errors, a .579 attack percentage and seven block assists.

LSSU plays at Ferris State at noon Friday.
