Billing has earned his second Capital One CoSIDA Academic
All-District IV award.
Billing (Anna, Ohio), who maintains a 3.59 grade point average
in exercise science, was one of three Great Lakes Intercollegiate
Athletic Conference representatives to make the all-district team.
The others were Michigan Tech senior Austin Armga and junior Ben
Stelzer. Bryce Foster of Missouri-St. Louis and Keisten Jones of
Bellarmine also made the team.
Heading into tonight's game at Northern Michigan, Billing ranks
fifth in the GLIAC and 22nd nationally in scoring at 22.2 points
per game. He is eighth in the league in average three-point field
goals per game (2.3) and ninth in free-throw percentage (85.4). He
leads the GLIAC in average free throws made per game at 7.3.
Billing ranks third in LSSU career three-point field goals
(244), fifth in career free-throw percentage (.815) and 10th in
scoring (1,539).
Billing is one of four players averaging 10 or more points per
game for the 17-3 Lakers.
