Box Score 2 HANCOCK - The Lake Superior State volleyball team opened the
2014 season Thursday with a 3-0 victory at Finlandia.
The match was a tune-up for this weekend's Joey's Keeweenaw
Classic hosted by Michigan Tech. Today the Lakers play Bemidji
State at 9:30 a.m. and Winona State at 3:30 p.m.
Jen Marren compiled a team-leading six kills and .545 attack
percentage as the Lakers swept Finlandia, 25-22, 25-5, 25-10.
Janelle Nagy and Elizabeth Ballor added four kills each. LSSU
posted an impressive team attack rate of .321.
Nagy compiled 11 assists, and libero Meghan Drobish had seven
digs.
