AUGUSTA, Mich. - The Lake Superior State (LSSU) women's golf team placed 7th at the 2024 GLIAC Championships on Friday and Saturday.

Kiera Cotter (Etobicoke, Ont.) led the way for the Lakers, placing 17th overall on the individual leaderboard, using a consistent showing in both rounds on her way to a final score of 157 strokes (79, 78). Jesse Hellebuyck (Almont, Mich.) would then finish with a two-day total of 172 (87, 85), and Mackenzie Davidson (Rockford, Mich.) was not far behind with a two-round final score of 173 strokes (82, 91). Marie Mathieu (Marshall, Mich.) and Lekisha Sasitharan (Shah Alam, Malaysia) rounded out the lineup with respective totals of 176 (84, 92) and 180 (92, 88).
