KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Tyson Edmondson (Ypsilanti, Mich.) has been selected to the 2024-25 NABC All-Midwest Region First Team, as announced by the NABC on Monday. The All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division II. 

Edmondson led the Lakers in scoring this season with 16.9 points per game, and he would go on to average 25 points per contest in the Lakers' tournament run to win the 2025 Midwest Regional Tournament, resulting in him being named as the Midwest Regional's Most Outstanding Player. 

His other accolades from this season include being named to the D2CCA All-Midwest Region Team and the All-GLIAC First Team.

Edmondson and the Lakers are set to face Dallas Baptist in the Elite Eight in Evansville, Ind. on Tuesday, March 25 with tipoff scheduled for 1 p.m. Eastern Time. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
