SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - The Lake Superior State (LSSU) Department of Athletics has earned a combined 107 GLIAC Academic Awards for the 2024-25 academic year with 67 total NCAA Division II student-athletes being recognized. In total, 30 student-athletes received GLIAC All-Academic recognition, and 37 student-athletes received GLIAC Academic Excellence honors.

In order to qualify for the GLIAC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or above while Academic Excellence honorees must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5. Freshmen and first-year transfer students are ineligible for GLIAC academic honors.
