Men's Basketball Team Camp

This camp is open to all high school JV and Varsity teams ready to compete and set the tone for their season, running June 20th and 21st. Every team will play a minimum of 5 games. Sunday will include a tournament format. All games will be played on the hour. Each game will be composed of two, 20 minute running clock halves. All halftimes will be 3 minutes long. The clock will stop on any stoppage of play during the last minute of the game only. All overtime periods will result in a FT shootout Each team will be allowed 2 timeouts per game. In overtime, 1 timeout will be awarded. Shooting fouls will result in 1 free throw worth 2 points. On the 7th team foul. teams will shoot 1 free throw for 2 points. All technical, flagrant, and intentional fouls will result in 1 free throw for 2 points and possession. In the last minute of the game regular MHSAA rules apply. $400 per team, and $100 per room per night if staying in dorms. This fee covers the minimum of 5 games and pays t-shirts for each team's. Each team must provide their own jerseys for players. There will be a training staff on site to assist with injuries. Teams will need to provide their own tape and supplies for any medical or training purposes.

All participants receive a camp t-shirt and will play in a minimum of 5 games. Each camper will be required to complete medical paperwork prior to participation.

Men's Basketball Kids Camp

This camp is open to boys entering 3-8 grade, running June 8th through the 10th from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM each day. Campers will receive instruction and guidance from LSSU coaches and players. They will learn the fundamentals of basketball which includes dribbling, shooting, rebounding, and defensive stations all while playing games and competitions that help increase their love of the game. Camp will run from 9:00am – 3:00pm.  Lunch break at noon, campers should bring their own lunch or arrange to be picked up during break. Cost is $175. 
 
 

Men's Basketball Elite Camp

The LSSU Elite Camp, set for June 22nd from noon to 4:00 PM is designed for high school players who want to compete and develop in a college-level environment. This camp provides athletes the opportunity to work directly with the Lake Superior State University coaching staff while focusing on advanced skill development and game competition. Players will participate in high-level drills that emphasize scoring, decision-making, and position-specific skills used at the collegiate level. Throughout the camp, athletes will compete in competitive drills and live 5-on-5 play, allowing players to showcase their abilities in real game situations. Campers will receive instruction, feedback, and evaluation from the LSSU coaching staff, making this a great opportunity for players interested in improving their game and gaining exposure to college-level expectations.
