Junior (2011-12): Appeared in all 26 games and filled various roles, mostly adding quickness to the lineup...Had five double-figure performances, including a season-high 15 points during a one-point loss to Edgewood College (11/18)...Wells’ season-high in league play was 13 points during an 82-80 loss at Saginaw Valley State (12/1)... Ranked sixth on the team in average minutes per game (21.2).

Sophomore (2010-11): Appeared in all 27 games and started 10 when his role increased significantly due to Kyle Hunt’s season-ending injury...Ranked fifth on the team in average minutes played at 22.5... Scored a season-high 17 points during an 80-73 loss to Tiffin (1/29) and a 73-56 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament loss at Findlay (3/2)...Averaged 11.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game following Hunt’s injury (last 10 games).

Prior to LSSU: Was recruited to run track at Oakland University... Earned prep all-state honors in the indoor 400-meter dash, and all-city recognition in the 400, and 1,600 and 800-meter relays.

Personal: Son of Kelvin and Joyce Wells...Brother, Denzel, runs track at Eastern Michigan University. His sister, Eboni, is a Michigan graduate who lettered in track...Majoring in criminal justice.
