Biography

Junior/Senior (2010-11): Appeared in 23 contests, backing up senior post player Justin Williams...His first career double double included a career-high 13 points and 10 rebounds during a 74-71 victory over Missouri-St. Louis (11/13)...Averaged 5.0 points and 5.6 rebounds per game during the Lakers’ first five games.

Sophomore/Junior (2009-10): Played a reserve role in the post and appeared in 27 games...Scored a season-high eight points during a 73-61 loss to Wayne State (1/16) and totaled a career-high five rebounds during an 89-83 loss to Tiffin (2/11).

Freshman/Sophomore (2008-09): Appeared in 14 games, averaging 3.4 minutes per game...Scored a season-high five points during a 74-47 win at Tiffin (12/20) and an 86-59 loss to Ferris State (1/8).

2007-08: Red-shirt

Prep: Averaged 11.6 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.9 blocked shots per game for Grayling High School in 2006-07...Shot 54 percent from the field...Was named to the All-Lake Michigan Conference First Team and Gaylord Herald-Times All-Area Second Team...Was ranked among the top 10 in his class academically with a 3.8 grade point average.

Personal: Son of James and Cheryl Boylan…Twin brother, Jim, plays basketball at Ferris State...Majoring in criminal justice.
