Freshman (2017-18): 24 games played, averaged 6.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game, also shot 58.6%...(11/25) vs. Shorter University, Shot 85.7% and had 12 points and four rebounds...(12/16) vs. Ferris State, 5-5 field goals, accumulated 11 points, and three rebounds...(1/28) vs. Ferris State, 43.8% field goal percentage, 2-2 free throws. 16 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and three steals. 

High School: Stein, one of nine Kalamazoo Central High School basketball players, who participated in the program’s National Letter of Intent signing day Thursday, averaged 10 points per game and shot 53 percent from the field for the Maroon Giants. Central finished 21-4 after reaching the 2017 MHSAA Boys Basketball Class A Quarterfinals.
