Biography

Sophomore (2014-15): Tallied an assist during 5-3 loss to MTU (10/4)... Netted his first goal of the season as time expired on the first period against Notre Dame (10/17)...Picked up the game-winning goal with .6 seconds remaining to lead the Lakers over Bemidji State (1/16)...  Scored the game-winning goal and was a +1 in a 3-0 victory over Northern Michigan (2/28)... Finished the season with 5-5--10 in 36 games played... Named a WCHA Scholar Athlete for acheiving a 3.50 gpa or higher... Was named the team's Scholar Athlete of the Year after earning a 3.77 gpa.

Freshman (2013-14): Notched his first collegiate points with a power-play goal and an assist on the game-winning goal against Robert Morris (10/11)...Named WCHA’s Rookie of the Week for his performance against Robert Morris (10/11-12)...Had three assists during LSSU’s sweep at Union (10/18-19)...Netted one goal and one assist during LSSU’s 3-3 tie, 3-2 shootout victory at Wisconsin (11/1)...Tallied two goals during LSSU 4-1 win over Alaska (11/8)...Scored the game-tying goal for LSSU during the 3-2 overtime loss to Alaska (11/9)...His seven-game point streak ended Nov. 16 with 10 points in seven games...Notched two goals and one assist during LSSU’s 3-2 victory at Bemidji State (11/22)...Recorded a point (1-1--2) in both games during LSSU’s 6-3 and 4-2 losses at Notre Dame (1/17-18)... Tallied three assists in the 5-3 win over Alaska Anchorage (2/7)... Scored a goal and an assist against MSU (3/1)...Lead the Lakers in points while being tied for seventh nationally in rookie points and led the WCHA in freshman scoring. He had the WCHA’s most rookie goals and assists. Finished eighth in overall WCHA scoring.

Prior to LSSU: Tied for ninth in the Central Canada Hockey League in 2012-13 regular-season scoring with 24-44—68 in 60 games and led Carleton Place in 12 playoff games with 6-9—15...The Canadians,  which were a Junior C franchise until 2009, won their first-ever CCHL playoff series in 2013 before losing in the second round to the Cornwall Colts...Played for Port Huron (North American Hockey League) in 2011-12.

Personal: Son of Robert Globke and Victoria Swegles...A 2012 graduate of Southfield Christian High School... Brother Rob played ice hockey at the University of Notre Dame 2000-04 and appeared in 46 career NHL games... Brother Jon played ice hockey at New England College...
