Redshirt Junior (2011-12): Appeared in nine games for Lake Superior State, tallying an assist.

Redshirt Sophomore (2010-11): Appeared in four exhibition contests, including three during the Lakers’ holiday tour in Ontario, but didn't see official game action.

Redshirt Freshman (2009-10): Appeared in one game for the Lakers, making his collegiate debut Oct. 24 against Ohio State and blocked a shot.

Freshman (2008-09): Did not compete.

Prior to LSSU: Was third on the team in scoring with 16 goals and 26 assists in 50 games and scored three short-handed goals for the Blind River Beavers of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League in 2007-08... Helped lead Blind River to the Western Division's top record of 33-9-8... Played for the Soo Indians and Marquette Electricians AAA midget teams... 

Personal: Son of Kevin and Pam Cooper, grandson of former LSSU player, coach and Athletics Director Bud Cooper, known as "The Father of Laker Athletics"... Cousin, Brad, was a senior forward for the Lakers from 2006-10... A 2008 graduate of Sault Area High School...Planning to major in exercise science.
