Biography

Junior (2009-10): Movedup to ninth in career wins at LSSU with 26 and 10th in career saveswith 2,128..Also moved up to second in career save percentage a.909 and remained sixth in career goals-against average a2.81...Totaled 1,028 saves in 2009-10, which ranks third onLSSU’s single-season list...Totaled 18 saves against Canisius(10/17) for his second career shutout and first of theseason...Notched his second shutout of the season during a 0-0 tiewith Union (11/27) at the RPI Tournament...His Jan. 8 save atMichigan State ranked second on ESPN’s top 10 plays of theday...Stopped a season-high 40 shots during a 5-4 overtime victoryover Nebraska-Omaha (1/16) and totaled 77 saves for theseries...Was named Reebok Goaltender of the Week for hisperformance against UNO...Was 2-3 overall and 2-1 in the CentralCollegiate Hockey Association in shootouts.

Sophomore (2008-09): Totaled 28 saves during a2-0 victory over Bowling Green State (11/7) to record his firstcollegiate shutout and LSSU's first shutout since Dec. 1,2006...Posted his first shootout victory against BGSU(11/8)...Missed six games due to injury (1/30 through2/14)...Stopped 39 shots on goal during the Lakers' 6-3 win atWestern Michigan (3/6) during Game 1 of the Central CollegiateHockey Association First Round Playoffs, then topped that effortwith a career-high 41 saves during a 4-3 double overtime loss(3/7)...Was 1-5 in shootouts.

Freshman (2007-08): Stopped all 32 shots ongoal during his first career start against Clarkson (10/27), buthad to leave the game with 4:37 remaining due to a legcramp...Recorded his first collegiate assist and totaled aseason-high 36 saves in a 3-3 tie at Michigan State (1/5)...Totaled31 saves during a 6-5 overtime victory over Ohio State (1/26) andhad 66 saves while starting back-to-back games for the first timein his collegiate career.

Prior to LSSU: A ninth-round draft pick of theSan Jose Sharks during the 2004 National Hockey League Entry Draft(288th overall)...Was drafted after totaling six shutouts and 1.16goals-against average at Boston's Catholic Memorial High School in2003-04...Missed half of the 2005-06 season due to an injury, buthad stints in the British Columbia Hockey League, United StatesHockey League and Eastern Junior Hockey League...Was 10-10-2-2 witha 3.23 goals-against average and .905 save percentage for theNewmarket Hurricanes of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey Leaguein 2006-07.
