Charles "Buddy" Robinson played professional hockey for over a decade after leaving LSSU. In 2015-16, he was called up for three games with the Ottawa Senators, scoring a goal and assisting one more. He would appear in NHL games with Calgary, Anaheim and Chicago. He also played in over 500 AHL games before heading overseas to compete for the KHL's Traktor Chelyabinsk.
Sophomore (2012-13): Scored eight goals and assisted eight more in 38 games for LSSU. Signed for the AHL's Binghamton Senators at the end of the season, scoring twice and assisting twice in six games.
Freshman (2011-12):Tallied his first collegiate goal during a 3-2 loss to Bemidji State (11/4)... Scored the game-tying goal during a 2-2 tie and shootout victory at Michigan (1/7)... Contributed a point (1-2--3) in three of the Lakers’ four playoff games.
Prior to LSSU: Totaled 15-23--38 while playing 32 games with the Hamilton Red Wings of the Ontario Junior Hockey League, then played his last 19 games with the Nepean Raiders of the Central Canada Hockey League during the 2010-11 season... Compiled 5-19--24 for Nepean, which was 27-25-6 for the year.
Personal: Son of Bud and Maureen Robinson... A 2009 graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School... Planning to major in Marketing.
