Biography

Junior (2012-13): Missed30 games while recovering from off-season surgery...Recorded anassist during his first game back on Feb. 15 and notched twoassists during his first three games.

Sophomore (2011-12):Finished third on the team in overall points with 9-16--25...LedLSSU and tied for seventh in the Central Collegiate HockeyAssociation in power-play points in games against league opponentswith 2-8--10 (2-10--12 overall)...Recorded seven multiple-pointgames, including a two-goal game against Michigan State(10/15)...Compiled 1-3--4 during a series split at home againstMiami (1/13-14)...Scored a goal in both games during theLakers’ second-round playoff series at Western Michigan(3/9-10).

Freshman (2010-11):Appeared in 37 of 39 games...His first collegiate point was a goalduring a 5-4 victory over Colgate (10/23)...Contributed 1-2--3during the Central Collegiate Hockey Association Playoffs,including a goal during the Lakers’ 4-2 season-ending loss atNotre Dame (3/13).

Prior to LSSU:Was ateammate of Laker rookie Kevin Kapalka on the Vaughan Vipers of theOntario Junior Hockey League...Tied for ninth in OJHL scoring aftertotaling 32-44--76 during the 2009-10 regular season and added3-2--5 in five playoff games...Voted Team East’s player ofthe game during Game 1 of the Canadian Junior Hockey ProspectsGames held in December, 2009, in Manitoba...Was ranked 157th on the2010 NHL Scouting List and received the OJHL Top ProspectsAward.
