Biography

Senior (2019-20): Played in the first 17 games while starting 10 before sustaining a season-ending injury… Recorded six goals and three assists for nine points… Led all Laker defensemen in goals… Tied for third on the team in goals… Tied for first on the team in power play goals with three… Blocked 23 shots for the Lakers… Scored the game winning goal on Oct. 6 against Merrimack in a 4-3 win… Registered his first career multi-goal game (2G) at Notre Dame on Oct. 26… Posted a three game multi-point streak from Oct. 26 - Nov. 2, where he registered five goals and one assist… Recorded his second multi-goal game of the season on Nov. 2 against Ferris State with two power play goals… Named WCHA Defenseman of the Week on Nov. 4… Top 20 finalist for the Senior CLASS Award...  Named a co-captain... Named to the WCHA All-Academic Team and a WCHA Scholar Athlete.

Junior (2018-19): Played in 37 games with 16 starts...Tallied 25 points (10-15--25) with a +16 rating and one game-winning goal...Led the WCHA in goals by a defenseman, and ranked fifth amongst defensemen in points in the WCHA...Named Defenseman of the Week three times...Named WCHA Defenseman of the Month for two consecutive months (November & December)...Named to WCHA All-Academic Team and a WCHA Scholar-Athlete...(12/7) at Alaska, scored one goal and tallied an assist with a +2 rating and added two shots on goal in a 4-1 win...(12/30) vs. Michigan State, accumulated two assists and had a +1 rating...Named to GLI All-Tournament Team...Only player in NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey to garner at least 25 points and 90 blocked shots...Named Most Valuable Defenseman by Soo Blueliners.

Sophomore (2017-18): Played in 27 games and started in 12 for the Lakers. Notched 5 points from playing at the blue line (1-4-5)...(10/6) vs. Northern Michigan, recorded an assist and 2 shots in 5-3 win...(2/24) recorded goal and four shots in 4-2 loss vs. Ferris State...Led the WCHA in block shots with 81. 

Freshman (2016-17): An American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) All-American Scholar ... Garnered WCHA Defensive Player of the Week (10/24) recognition in league series sweep at Alabama-Huntsville (10/21-22) with three points (0-3--3), a plus four efficiency rating, and six blocked shots ... Assisted on both Lakers' game-winning goals in road victories over Alabama-Huntsville (10/21-22) to go along with plus +2 rating and three blocked shots in each game ... Compiled a team-leading 94 blocked shots ... Ranked tied for third in team assists with 15 total and his 18 points ranked eighth highest among the squad's top performers ... Concluded WCHA action with 13 points via two goals and 11 assists in 28 appearances ... Notched four multiple-point game performances with two points in each contest - 0-2--2 at Alabama-Huntsville (10/21), 1-1--2 at Nebraska-Omaha (12/31), 1-1--2 against Alabama-Huntsville (1/21), and 0-2--2 versus Alaska Anchorage (2/11) ...
