Prior to LSSU: Cooper Foster was picked in the 2023 NHL Draft, Round 6, #174 (PIT)... A Sault Ste. Marie, ON native, he struck for 29 goals, 27 assists and 66 points in 66 games for Ottawa in the OHL during the 2025/26 campaign... In his three prior full seasons in the OHL for the 67's, he piled up 53 points in 55 games, 532 points in 59 games and 36 points in 63 games, tormenting teams around the league... He also showed up in the playoffs, scoring 10 points in nine games during his final season of junior hockey... Foster also played for the Soo Thunderbirds of the NOJHL for 38 games in 2021-22, posting 18-42-60 in 38 games and winning league MVP honors while winning the league's regular season and postseason...
