2013-14 Men's Ice Hockey

Biography

After graduation, Dan Radke played one game in North America, for the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators. He then went overseas, playing in 11 games the next season for French Ligue Magnus side Morzine-Avoriaz. He then spent three seasons out of hockey before returning for German fourth division side EHC Zweibrücken, where he played four seasons. He then moved to Danish second division side Gladsaxe, competing for three seasons. In 2023-24, he scored 31 goals and 32 assists in just 32 games for Gladsaxe.

Senior (2013-14): Scored six goals with 20 assists in 32 games for LSSU. Tallied the game-winner in a 3-2 win at Alabama Huntsville on 2/22/14. Struck twice on the power play, at Wisconsin (11/1/13) and against Alaska Anchorage (2/7/14).

Junior (2012-13): Ranked second on the team and 22nd in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association in overall assists and third on the team in points... Assisted on Domenic Monardo’s game-winning goal during a 3-2 victory over Michigan (1/19)... Recorded a four-pointseries against No. 3 Miami with two goals and two assists (2/22-23)... Scored two goals during a 4-2 victory over Alaska (11/3) and had two assists during a 7-3 loss to Bowling Green State (2/2)... Enjoyed a five-game point streak (2-6--8) from Feb.2-23... Ranked third on the team in faceoff wins with 210 and had a.536 faceoff win percentage... Was named to Jewish Sports Review’s Division I College Hockey All-America Team and totaled 2-4--6 for Team Canada at the 2013 Maccabiah Games held last summer in Israel.

Sophomore (2011-12): Missed the first 12 games of the season due to injury... Scored agoal in his first appearance of the year -- a 2-2 tie with Canisius (11/19)... Had three multiple-point games, including the game-winning goal and an assist during a 3-2 victory over Western Michigan (2/17)... Scored shootout winners against Michigan State (1/21) and Ohio State (1/28)... Had a .667 success rate in CCHA shootouts (2-for-3).

Freshman (2010-11): Appeared in 33 of 39 games... Scored the game-winning goal with 14 seconds remaining and added an assist  during a 5-4 victory over Colgate (10/23) for his first collegiate points... Contributed two assists during a 4-0 victory over Ferris State (11/13)... Had a.484 faceoff win percentage with 162 wins.

Prior to LSSU: Was a teammate of Laker rookies Kyle Jean and Nick Shkreli on the Traverse City North Stars coached by former Lakers Anthony Palumbo and Mike Matteucci... In 2009-10, finished third on the North Stars team in regular-season points with 21-26--47... Added 5-2--7 as Traverse City won the NAHL North Division title and reached the Robertson Cup semifinals... Helped lead the North Stars to a 33-20-5 record.
