Biography

Sophomore (2022-23): Competed in two games for the Lakers... Recorded 42 saves.

Freshman (2021-22): Did not compete.

High School/Juniors: Played three seasons of junior hockey with the Bonnyville Pontiacs of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL)... Coached by Rick Swan… Played in 19 games for the Pontiacs during the 2018-19 season and registered a 13-2-2 record… Posted a 1.77 goals against average and a .929 save percentage… Posted four shutouts… Named the Pontiacs Rookie of the Year for the 2018-19 season… Played in 50 games for Bonnyville during the 2019-20 season and registered a 27-19-4 record.... Posted a 2.99 goals against average and a .913 goals against average… Received the team’s Unsung Hero Award in 2019-20… Played in 10 games for the Pontiacs during the 2020-21 season and registered a 6-3-1 record… Posted a 2.11 goals against average and a .931 save percentage… Recorded two shutouts… Earned the team’s MVP Award for the 2020-21 season… Posted the AJHL’s best save percentage during the 2020-21 season.

Personal: Son of Daren and Andrea Hesse… Has one brother, Connor… A 2018 graduate of Ecole Secondaire Beaumont Composite High School in Beaumont, Alb… Majoring in business administration.
