High School/Juniors: Competed for Thief River Falls High School in the Mariucci conference under Head Coach Tim Bergland for four seasons where he recorded 120 points (47G, 73A) for his high school career... Reached the MSHSL Class A State Tournament in 2018... 2018 MSHSL Section 8A Champion... In his final year at the high school hockey level, he was named captain before leading Thief River Falls in points (38) and assists (24) while being tied for second in goals (14) as a senior... Competed for team USA at the 2019 Ivan Hlinka Gretzky Cup... Competed for the Minnesota Wilderness of the NAHL for one season in 2020-21 where he posted 15 points (2G, 13A) before moving on to the BCHL in the following season where he played for the Trail Smoke Eaters, was named assistant captain, and doubled his production for a stat line of 6-25-31... In his final year at the junior hockey level, he was named captain and recorded 35 points (7G, 28A) from the back line, which was tied for the 11th most points among BCHL defensemen... Named the Top Defenseman for Trail in both seasons with the team... Named the Smoke Eaters' MVP in 2023.

Personal: Son of Jon and Melissa Bushy... Has two siblings... Older brother, Brendan, played hockey for St. Cloud State for five seasons... Also enjoys golfing... Majoring in business management.
