Biography

Sophomore (2014-15): Tallied his first point of the season with an assist on Luke Sandler's third period goal, and was also a +1 during a 3-2 loss at Alaska Anchorage(10/31)... Scored his first career goal as a Laker against Northern Michigan (2/28) during a 3-0 victory over the rival Wildcats... Named a WCHA Scholar Athlete for acheiving a 3.50 gpa or higher...

Freshman (2013-14): Earned his first collegiate point during LSSU’s 3-1 victory over Robert Morris (10/12), notching an assist for the Lakers... Appeared in seven games (0-1--1).

Prior to LSSU: Was fourth in regular-season scoring for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs with 12-27—39 in 2012-13...Also totaled 3-2--5 in 10 North American Hockey League Playoff games as the Ice Dogs finished 5-5...Shared a line with fellow LSSU recruit Garret Clemment...Led New Mexico (NAHL) in rookie scoring in 2011-12.

Personal: Son of Jay and Cheryl Angus...Father, Jay, lettered in baseball and football at Bethany College...A 2010 graduate of Greater Latrobe High School...

2010-11: League scoring leader with the Pittsburgh Jr. Penguins (CSHL)

2012-13: Was named NAHL West Star of the Week... Invited to the NAHL Top Prospect Tournament.
