Biography

Senior (2008-09): An Assistant Captain for the second consecutive year. Scored 28 points, with 11 goals and 17 assists, while posting a +12. 

Junior (2007-08): An Assistant Captain for LSSU. Missed the last six games of the season after re-aggravating a leg injury that hampered him throughout the season...Scored goals against Notre Dame (11/1), Miami (1/18) and Ferris State(2/1)... Was the recipient of the Soo BlueLiners' Gay Blade Award.

Sophomore (2006-07): Tied with Nathan Perkovich in goals scored for the Lakers with 15, which was the most goals by a Laker since Terry Marchant had 17 in 1997-98... Was named to the Badger Showdown All-Tournament Team after totaling 2-2--4 and was part of the "Saskatchewan Line" that totaled 3-5--8 that weekend... Scored game-winning goals against Nebraska-Omaha (1/6) and Michigan (2/16)... Scored an empty-net goal and was 2-0--2 as the "Saskatchewan Line" totaled 5-2--7 against Ohio State (1/26-27)... Was the recipient of the Soo BlueLiners' Gay Blade Award.

Freshman (2005-06): Scored his first collegiate goal in a 1-1 tie with Ferris State (10/22)...Tied for the highest plus/minus among rookies at +3.

Prior to LSSU: Totaled 22 goals and 35 assists in 39 games for the Kindersley Klippers and was a linemate of 2004-05 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League scoring leader and current Laker Troy Schwab... Earned SJHL Player of the Week honors in September, 2004... Spent two seasons with the Klippers and helped lead the team to the 2004 Anavet Cup title that goes to the top team from the Saskatchewan and Manitoba leagues.

Personal: Son of Jay and Barb Sim...A 2002 graduate of Marion Graham High School... Plans to major in accounting.
