Sophomore (2012-13): Played in 25 games with two goals scored. Scored his first career goal against Alabama Huntsville on 11/16/12. Scored on 12/1/12 at Notre Dame.

Freshman (2011-12): Did not play.

Prior to LSSU: Helped lead the Traverse City North Stars to a second-place finish in the North American Hockey League North Division in 2010-11... Teamed with Lakers Kyle Jean, Dan Radke at Nick Shkreli at Traverse City in 2009-10... Was coached by former Lakers Anthony Palumbo and Mike Matteucci... Totaled 26-21--47 during 53 regular-season games and was the team’s No. 3 scorer in 2010-11.

Personal: Son of Ken and Ardina Ainsworth... A 2009 graduate of Rothesay Netherwood, St.Patrick High School... Planning to major in Business Administration.
