After turning professional at the end of the 2012-13 season and signing with the Chicago Wolves, Kellan Lain largely spent the next several seasons in the AHL. In 2013-14, he received a call-up to the NHL's Vancouver Canucks and set an... interesting record. In two seconds of action, he got into an opening faceoff fight with Calgary's Kevin Westgarth. Six other players were ejected. The next game, against Edmonton, he scored his first NHL goal.

Prior to LSSU:Injuredthroughout most of the 2009-10 season and totaled 8-9--17 in 16games for the Oakville Blades of the Ontario Junior HockeyLeague...Had a strong finish and was named most-valuable player ofthe Dudley Hewitt Cup...Totaled 19-23--42 and played in the RoyalBank Cup with the Blades in 2007-08.
