After turning professional at the end of the 2012-13 season and signing with the Chicago Wolves, Kellan Lain largely spent the next several seasons in the AHL. In 2013-14, he received a call-up to the NHL's Vancouver Canucks and set an... interesting record. In two seconds of action, he got into an opening faceoff fight with Calgary's Kevin Westgarth. Six other players were ejected. The next game, against Edmonton, he scored his first NHL goal.

Junior (2012-13): An Assistant Captain who scored eight goals with eight assists for 16 points. Tallied 116 penalty minutes.

Sophomore (2011-12):Finished second on the team behind Zach Trotman and tied for 13thin the Central Collegiate Hockey Association in power-play goalswith five...Scored game-winning goals against Miami (10/28), NotreDame (11/25), U.S. NTDP U-18s (2/3) and Alaska (3/2)...Led theLakers in faceoff wins with 313 and had a .521 win percentage.

Freshman (2010-11):Appeared in 38 of 39 games...Recorded his first collegiate pointwhile assisting on Colin Campbell’s goal during a 6-2 loss atMiami (10/29)...His first collegiate goal was also a game-winnerduring a 4-0 victory over Ferris State (11/13)...Contributed 2-2--4during the Central Collegiate Hockey Association Playoffs,including a goal and two assists during a 4-3 victory at Notre Dameduring Game Two of the second round...Had a .491 faceoff winpercentage, winning 183 draws.

Prior to LSSU:Injuredthroughout most of the 2009-10 season and totaled 8-9--17 in 16games for the Oakville Blades of the Ontario Junior HockeyLeague...Had a strong finish and was named most-valuable player ofthe Dudley Hewitt Cup...Totaled 19-23--42 and played in the RoyalBank Cup with the Blades in 2007-08.
