Senior (2011-12): An Assistant Captain who tallied 23 points. Blocked six shots on 10/28/11 at Miami in a 5-3 LSSU win. Blocked six more against Miami on 1/14/12 in a 4-3 win, then another six in a 4-2 win at Alaska on 2/10/12. Four blocks the next night, then five more against Western Michigan in a 3-2 win on 2/18/12. Blocked five again on 3/2/12 in a 4-3 win over the Nanooks.
Junior (2010-11): Was named Central Collegiate Hockey Association Defensive Player of the Week after totaling four blocked shots and recording an assist during the Lakers’ 1-0 and 4-0 victories over Ferris State (11/12-13)... He won the award again after tallying the game-tying goal on Saturday and totaling eight blocked shots during back-to-back 1-1 ties -with Bowling Green State (12/3-4)... Had the team’s highest plus-minus rating and finished third on the team in points by a defenseman... Led the Lakers in blocked shots with 70... Contributed an assist during Games 2 and 3 of LSSU’s CCHA Second Round Playoff series at Notre Dame.
Sophomore (2009-10):Scored his only goal of the season during a 7-6 victory at Robert Morris (1/2)... Notched three of his four assists during a 10-game stretch between Nov. 28 and Jan. 9.
Freshman (2008-09): Was voted LSSU's most-improved player... Scored a goal during the Lakers' 7-0 exhibition victory over Windsor (10/25)... Tallied his first official goal during a 4-4 tie with Bowling Green State (11/8) and notched his first career assist on Fred Cassiani's goal against Nebraska-Omaha (12/13)... Was +3 during the Lakers' 6-3 victory over Western Michigan (3/6) in Game 1 of LSSU's Central Collegiate Hockey Association First Round Playoff series... Tied for first runner-up for "Most Under-rated Player" in the 2009 CCHA Captain's Poll.
Prior to LSSU: Was the runner-up for the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Defenseman of the Year Award in 2007-08... Totaled four goals and 23 assists in 57 games during his final season with the Weyburn Red Wings and compiled 13-47--60 over three SJHL seasons with his hometown squad... Was a SJHL First Team All-Star and played for Canada West at the 2006 World Junior A Hockey Challenge.
