Louis Boudon captained the Lakers twice and turned professional after his senior season at LSSU, embarking on an international career that saw him capture the spotlight at the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games. He played one game for the AHL's Laval Rocket, three more for the AHL's Iowa Wild and three additional games for the ECHL's Iowa Heartlanders. He made 11 appearances for the French senior national team during the season.
In 2023-24, he played 10 games for Iowa in the AHL, scoring a goal. But his biggest impact came with ECHL Iowa, where he scored 18 goals with 28 assists in 54 games. That season, he led the team in scoring and played with fellow Laker Yuki Miura. 2024-25 saw Boudon move to Europe, competing for HockeyAllsvenskan's Nybro Vikings IF. He was a regular in the French national team, playing 16 games. He was an assistant captain for his country at the World Championships, and also assisted a goal in the Olympic Games Qualifiers.
2025-26 saw him return to the ECHL with the Atlanta Gladiators, where he scored 30 points in 25 games before signing midseason with Finnish top flight side Jukurit. He was one of the ECHL's leaders in most statistical categories prior to his departure.
But Boudon's biggest moments came at the Olympic Games, where he quickly scored twice against the powerhouse Czech team. His scintillating play anchored the French, and his strong two-way play stood out.
