Prior to LSSU: Besnier competed alongside former Laker captain Louis Boudon, Teo Besnier has captained France at the U20 level and also appeared at the U18 level... He spent the 2025/26 season with the USHL's Dubuque Fighting Saints, posting four goals and 32 assists in 36 games while posting a +10 rating in 60 games... He's been a star as he's moved up the ranks too, in 2024/25 he was named the U20 World Juniors (D1A) Best Defenseman after leading defenders in points in the bracket... He won the Silver Medal in 2023/24 at the U20 level while earning his first of two top player on the team honors... At the club level, he was a U20 champion with Grenoble, wearing an "A" as Assistance Captain... He appeared in games in the top three French divisions that season, including four games in the top-flight Ligue Magnus... He earned a championship in the third division during that campaign... In 2021/22, he was a French U17 champion with Grenoble, scoring the most assists and points by a defenseman in the U17 league.
