Biography

Senior (2008-09): Captained the Lakers for the second straight season, posting 11 goals and 21 assists in 39 games.

Junior (2007-08): LSSU's captain... Led the Lakers in faceoff wins with 296 and power-play points with 2-10--12... Notched three assists at home against Michigan State (11/30-12/1)... Recorded an assist in both home games against Nebraska-Omaha (12/7-8)... Totaled 2-1--3 to lead LSSU to a 6-5 overtime victory over Ohio State (1/26)... Scored the game-tying-goal in a 2-2 tie at Northern Michigan (3/1)...Totaled 1-4--5 during LSSU's three-game CCHA Playoffs first-round series at Bowling Green (3/7-9).

Sophomore (2006-07): A Laker assistant captain and LSSU's Most-Valuable Forward... Led the Lakers in assists with 24 and was the team's point leader in conference play with 4-14--18... Recorded the most assists by a Laker since Bates Battaglia had 27 in 1996-97... Tallied game-winning goals against Wayne State (11/18), Providence (12/29) and Ohio State (1/26)... Centered the "Saskatchewan Line" that totaled 3-5--8 at the Badger Showdown (12/29-30) and 5-2--7 against Ohio State (1/26-27)... Totaled four assists in five CCHA Playoff games... Missed second-round playoff series at Miami due to illness.

Freshman (2005-06): Was named Laker Hockey's Outstanding Freshman and received honorable mention on the CCHA All-Rookie Team... Also received Terry McDermott Award, which goes to LSSU's outstanding freshman athlete... Was LSSU's second-leading scorer with eight goals and 16 assists... Was named CCHA Rookie of the Week (12/5) after contributing 1-1-2 in a home series sweep against Alaska and (12/19) for assisting on three of the Lakers' seven goals in a split at Notre Dame... Scored his first career goal in a 10-0 victory at Western Michigan (11/4), totaling 2-1--3 in that contest and 3-1--4 for the series... Also scored two goals in a 6-1 win over Bowling Green State (1/27).

Prior to LSSU: Was named the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League's Top Scorer and received the E.E. Henning Memorial Trophy for being the SJHL's most valuable player after totaling 25 goals and 60 assists in 51 games for the Kindersley Klippers (29-23-3) in 2004-05... Also finished second on the team in penalty minutes with 162... Was twice named SJHL Player of the Week during his final Junior A season...Spent four seasons with the Klippers and teamed with Laker forward Josh Sim to win the Anavet Cup in 2003-04.
