Post-graduation, Zach has remained an extremely active member of the Laker Hockey Alumni family, connecting with former Lakers around the world. His efforts to coordinate with former teammates, Lakers of old and more recent graduates continue to forge strong bonds among those who wore the anchor. He graduated from LSSU with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing.

Senior (2015-16): Appeared in eight games for LSSU, scoring his first career goal on 11/7/15, the only Laker goal in a 1-1 tie against Bowling Green.

Junior (2014-15): Appeared in 16 games with the Lakers... Converted to forward early in the season.

Sophomore (2013-14): Tallied two assists during LSSU’s 4-3 victory over BGSU (11/29)...Notched the primary assist on LSSU’s game-winning goal over MTU (1/3)... Added his fourth assist of the season against Alaska Anchorage (2/8)... Picked up his fifth assist of the season in win over Northern Michigan (2/14).Ranked second on the team in blocked shots with 62 and finished with (0-5--5).

Freshman (2012-13): Appeared in 38 of 39 games and recorded his first collegiate point while assisting on Stephen Perfetto’s game-tying goal during a 4-2 victory over Michigan Tech (10/11)...Tallied an assist in both games of the season-opening series against MTU...Finished fourth on the team in blocked shots with 50.

Prior to LSSU: Compiled 4-16--20 in 44 regular-season games for the Pembroke Lumber Kings of the Central Canada Hockey League...Added 3-2--5 in 12 playoff games...Helped lead Pembroke to the 2011 Royal Bank Cup (Canadian national) championship and a 2011-12 CCHL regular-season title with a 51-9 record...Also played part of the 2010-11 season for the Fresno Monsters of the North American Hockey League.

Personal: Son of Jeff and Dena Loesch...A 2010 graduate of White Bear Lake High School... Brother Brandon played golf at Minnesota State-Mankato from 2005-08... Brother Corey played lacrosse at River Falls University 2007-08...
