MIDLAND, Mich. - the Lake Superior State men's tennis was
defeated by Michigan Tech, 5-2, in the fifth-place match at the
Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament. The
Lakers took sixth place in the tournament.
Sergiu Laza (Toronto, Ont.) won a No. 2 singles, 6-3 and 6-4.
Laza and Travis Toth (St. Johns, Mich.) defeated Michigan Tech,
8-5, at No. 3 doubles to give LSSU the only two wins of the match.
The Lakers finish their season 9-10 overall.
