INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Lake Superior State dropped to 1-1 during its season-opening road trip after falling 79-48 at Indianapolis on Saturday.

Kristin Turner scored 17 points and Katy McIntosh added 13 to lead 11th-ranked UIndy (1-0). The Greyhounds, who led 41-20 at halftime, shot 55.1 percent from the field while holding LSSU to 24.6 percent.

Raven Trammell, a junior guard, led Lake Superior State with a career-high 18 points, while senior forward Maria Blazejewski followed with eight. Trammell was 4-of-13 from three-point range. As a team, the Lakers were 5-of-21.

Turner and Kelly Walter were a combined 6-of-11 from three-point range for Indianapolis.

The Lakers continue competition against Great Lakes Valley Conference opponents on Nov. 24 at Southern Indiana.
