DETROIT, Mich. - Lake Superior State finished Great Lakes
Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's tennis play Saturday with
a 9-0 loss to Wayne State.
The Lakers (3-9 overall, 0-4 GLIAC) lost to WSU (9-6
overall, 4-0 GLIAC), which is ranked eighth in the
region. The Lakers competed against two undefeated GLIAC opponents
during road play March 23-24.
The Brazilian duo of Felipe Baptista (Sau Paulo, Brazil) and
Joao Gaberiel-Oliveira (Sao Loureco, Brazil) suffered a close
loss at No. 1 doubles, 9-7.
LSSU returns home March 30-31 with matches against Findlay and
Tiffin at the Arbuckle Student Activity Center.
