HOUGHTON, Mich. - Lake Superior State lost 9-0 to Michigan Tech
at the Gates Tennis Center Saturday. The Lakers are 6-12 overall
and 3-5 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and
are heading into their final leg of the season.
The Lakers hit the road April 12-14 to face GLIAC opponents
Tiffin, Findlay and Ohio Dominican before the GLIAC Tournament
April 19.
Pedro Nunes lost a close No. 1 singles match to Felipe dos
Santos of Michigan Tech, 7-6 (7-2), 6-0.
In doubles action, Felix DeSharnai and TJ Myers played to a
tie-breaker, losing 9-8 (7-5) at No. 2 doubles.
Michigan Tech (14-6 overall, 5-3 GLIAC) has won its last
two conference home matches.
