MIDLAND, Mich.- Lake Superior State men's tennis capped their 2015 spring schedule with a pair of losses over the weekend against Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference opponents Wayne State and Northwood. Saturday afternoon the Lakers dropped a 9-0 decision against Wayne State, prior to suffering another 9-0 loss to Northwood in their season finale on Sunday.
The Lakers (2-16, 0-9 GLIAC) will lose a tio of players that have been integral members of the team for the past three seasons. Grant Link, a four time letter winner and Jake Prime and TJ Meyers who are both three-time letter winners are set to graduate this spring.
During the weekend, the Lakers were unable to win a matchup in either doubles or singles.
GLIAC Championships begin Friday, April 24.
