HILLSDALE - Hillsdale defeated Lake Superior State in straight sets to win Sunday's men's tennis match, 9-0.

The closest match of the day was Justin Hyman's 7-5, 6-0 victory over Jake Prime at No. 1 singles. Hyman and Charlie Adams also had a close match with Prime and Luis Valderrama at No. 1 doubles, winning 8-6.

The Chargers improved to 9-6 overall and 2-2 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. LSSU dropped to 6-8 overall and 0-4 in the GLIAC.

The Lakers play host to Ferris State at 10 a.m. on April 1.
