CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. —The Lake Superior State men's and women's tennis teams fell to Campbellsville in a non-conference double-header Tuesday evening.
The Laker men were topped by the No.4-ranked Tigers, 9-0, and the women fell to the No.16-ranked women's squad, 7-2.
With the loss, the LSSU men slip to 3-2 overall on the season. The women fall to 4-9.
Janay Andrews captured the lone singles victory of the match for Lake State defeating Bailey Decker, 8-0.
Andrews also contributed to the Lakers only victory in the doubles competing with partner Allison Grandfield to edge the CU duo of Decker and Brooklyn Harris, 9-8.
The Lakers will continue their five-match road trip Thursday with a double header at Asbury beginning at 2 p.m.
Lake Superior State will host three matches this spring. Matches are free to attend. Come support the Lakers at the Student Activity Center on March 21, April 7, and April 8.
